Hi everbody!
Local businesses are an integral part of any community. They provide jobs, goods and services, and contribute to the local economy. But did you know that many local businesses also support local charities and not-for-profits?
One of the biggest benefits of shopping locally is that it helps keep money in your community. When you shop at a local business, you're supporting the local economy and helping to create jobs in your community. But many local businesses go above and beyond by supporting local charities and not-for-profits.
There are many ways that local businesses can support charities and not-for-profits. Some businesses donate a portion of their profits to charity, while others donate goods or services. Some businesses even organize fundraising events or volunteer their time to help out with local causes.
The benefits of supporting local charities and not-for-profits are numerous. Not only does it help those in need, but it also helps to build a stronger community. When businesses support local charities, they're helping to make their community a better place to live.
In addition to supporting local charities and not-for-profits, shopping locally has many other benefits. It reduces your carbon footprint, supports your local community, creates local jobs, provides a more personal experience, and often provides better customer service than larger corporations.
So next time you're looking to make a purchase, consider shopping locally. Not only will you be supporting your community and helping to create jobs, but you'll also be supporting the local charities and not-for-profits that your neighbours rely on.
I hope this blog helps!

Great blog. I had never thought about the flow-through effect of shopping locally. I guess I need to think more about how keeping the money I spend in the local area benefits everyone including the poorest of our community.
